Auburn signee Kalvaraz Bessent was arrested early Saturday on marijuana-related charges by the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office in Florida. Per AL.com...

The cornerback out of St. Mary's, Ga., was arrested on two felony charges stemming from possession of marijuana over 20 grams and possession with intent, according to the county jail. He was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.

Bessent was released Saturday on $5,506 bond.
Bessent, a 6-foot, 170 pound cornerback from Georgia was originally committed to Alabama but changed his commitment to Auburn back on December 9th.

I guess Florida isn't screwing around. Possession of less than an ounce of weed will get you a ticket most of the time in Texas.

He should have stayed at Alabama. He and Tony Brown would be a great tandem to they went to prison.
