Having the ability to alter and adjust your opinions based on new information that comes available. It's also a sign of having at least some modicum of intelligence being able to recognize what you used to think may not be the way things are permanently.

You can beat your fists on a table and hold steadfast to a belief in "ABC" which is fine, but what happens when you now have new information that discredits ABC? There's now a fork in the road. On the one side, you can ignore the new development and continue to pound your fists claiming ABC is law and there is no other way. Or you can take the other fork, which is basically "hmm, well that's different. It appears maybe ABC isn't absolute after all. I guess I need to reconsider my position and think about this differently".

What's astounding to me is there are a small handful on this board that don't seem to grasp that 99% of the fanbase has taken option 2, yet they seem to think it's the opposite. In 2020, Daniels was clearly the better QB. That's not even arguable. In 2021 it'd stand to reason that still be the case, and the coaches evidently agreed early on. Later on, STetson was our guy and the majority of the fanbase rallied around him, while still expressing concern about how high his ceiling may be. That's not insulting or shite talking, it's simply pointing out what all of us could see. As of late December 2021, the big question in UGA fans' mind was "can he either a)beat alabama or b)win a title" although it looked likely those were one in the same. And at that point in time, it was perfectly rational to ask that since all the data we had available pointed ot answer of no. We lost to alabama in 2020 where he made some quesitonable decisions leading to turnovers. We didn't lose the SECCG in 21 BECAUSE of stetson, but he did put a damper on our chances of trying to come back and win. At that point he was 0/2 against alabmama and 0/1 in cahmpionship games. So in what universe does it make someone the bad guy to ask if he could ever overcome that? Fast forward a couple weeks. We beat michigan and he looks great. Great. Now the only one that matters, a 2for1 situatino of not only beating alabama but also winning a championship. And guess waht? He did!

Now comes the aforementioned fork in the road. There are only like 2 or 3 people on here, out of over a thousand registered, that stuck to choice A. That still just disparage the guy and say he sucks and whatever else. Griffin is one. I think there's 1 or maybe 2 more. That's about it. The vast, overwhelming majority of everyone else in the entire fanbase took the second fork. The route of "that magnificent SOB he finally did it! We're national champions. We're on top fo the world. I've waited my life for this. This is perfect". After proving that day that he COULD do it, he hasn't slown down a bit. In fact he's actually gotten BETTER. We've been hell on wheels on offense this year and he's a heisman finalist. We're SEC champions. We're back in the playoffs. There's truly nothign to complain about especially as it relates to stetson.

That's what it's so perplexing that there's a couple here that intentionally go out of their way to try to sow discord and create division on here by pointing out something that was true at the time, although circumstances have shifted reality from that point to this point. I think that we're simply so good right now and in better shape than we've been as a program at any point in our history, that there's literally nothing to actually complain about. So out of boredom a couple people just manufacture this fake outrage simply for something to occupy their time. It's the only thing that makes sense.
