Even in the best of programs...not every top prospect turns out to be great, or even good. Look at Alabama. They pull in 4 and 5* QBs every single year and they just get average play (as a whole) from their QBs. And you HAVE to compare us to other teams. I mean, if we are in the top 5 in the country over those years, how much better do you think we should be?

Well, I'm glad I was able to generate a little excitement in this whiny little group for just a bit. Maybe next time some of these same folks jumping on me start bitching about QB play we can come back here and see what they posted.

You are using tunnel vision. People are not necessarily with the QB play NOW. They are just saying over all it has been very good the past 10-15 years. And it has.

My complaint is that he is a failure at keeping the team up, motivated and ready to play for a complete season

You mean like Saban against Arkansas last season? Or Bileima against Toledo this season? Malzahn against Jax State? Miles against Auburn last year?

Can you name me one coach that manages to do that on a regular basis?

List 5 programs that have had better QB play over that time period.

List five programs, that has had similiar NFL talent as Georgia has, that has started shitty qb's like JT3, Joe Cox, Mason and Lambert.

What was the last team to have as championship caliber of a team as we do and sucked so bad at qb. Meanwhile Ohio State wins a championship with their third qb

If you have Alabama's defense you can get away with that.

Stafford
Murray
DJ Shockley
D.Green

All of those guys went pro- Stafford and Murray are still balling.

Also never forget Joe "the Ginger Avenger" Cox!

Three of those guys have National Championship rings. You can get away with more when you wear that kind of hardware

I was posting to those that come in here wanting to fire Richt and Bobo because we haven't won 4 or 5 NCs over the last 15 years. They seem to have forgotten they wanted to bench Murray and fire Bobo.

LSU
Texas
Florida
Miami
Auburn

All have started really crappy QB's for the most part over the past several years. Obviously there are exceptions.

Your point? People keep acting like Richt is the only coach that has trouble motivating their players against weak teams. I purposely PICKED coaches that have championship rings because it shows they struggle with it too. So, thank you for making my point.

No you can't. Saban should have more. Poor decision making cost him with the 1 second field goal try against Auburn. Malzahn doesn't have a championship ring, by the way....or if you want to count his as an assistant, then you have to count Richt's with Florida State.

Buddy, you are wrong. We have already named the QB's we have had over the years that were mentioned and MOST of them played in the NFL. We aren't talking about overall talent, we are talking about Quarterbacks. While we have started a few of the QB's you mentioned, a couple of those started until we could get a freshman up to speed then the job was taken over by more capable, talented players. VERY few teams have great QB's as backups.

Yes you can. Win Championships and people forget the bad things. Sins are forgiven. Otherwise people remember losses to Vandy and Colorado

Texas: any qb they've had the last 5 years (Ash, McCoy, Gilbert, Swoopes)

LSU: Brandon Harris, Jordan Jefferson (this one REALLY hurts your argument), Anthony Jennings

Alabama: their current qb situation is about as bad as ours, and they've never gotten elite qb play. They've gotten good, and mostly consistent, but not elite.

Florida: lol

Clemson: you saw the trash they trotted out there against us last year right?

Notre Dame: Tommy Reese started in 2011 and was average as grits

Penn State: name one qb from penn state the past 10 years. That's right...
