agree it's kind of shithole but not as bad as downtown Jax. The Quarter is cool and lot of good food. Last time I went was 2012 and it was run down then. Other than the Quarter there really wasn't much to do if you don't drink.

Never had a bad experience in NO and been there several times over the years. It is truly the cultural Mecca of the South. Love the food and the vibe. Of course being a big city it has your blue bureaucratic tards here and there like many places but it is still yours for the taking and don’t let others spoil you from having a good time.
