Kickoff getting closer makes me think of this song.
(And deeprig is right, for once, Billy Joel sucks.)

Not yet..I need some alone time to do that.

We did find the perfect sound to the opening of Nothing Else Matters by Metallica today though.

When I think about WSP songs and football, I think of Coconut.

"Jack he likes the smell of cut grass, he used to play ball on Saturdays, playin' in the sun"

I always wondered about that line also, figured they maybe knew somebody on the roster during that time period.

Or they were just talking about weed.

Nobody knows.

I don’t associate the smell of cut grass with football. That’s a baseball scent, I believe

One of their roadies and or associates probably played in a Saturday softball league and thus got included in the gayest song in their catalog besides the entire “Ball” record

I think they’re deserving of a little bit of slack on that one, Houser had just died, things were kind of mess for awhile after that.

TM once went 11 - O picking college football games. Against the spread. In week f’n 1 having never seen these teams play a game.

I just Grok’d rhe odds of that and it says

P=1/2(11)=1/2,048

So, thats 1 in two-thousand-and-48 or about 0.049%

Translation. We got trolled by a bot. He’s not real. Im sure the bot troll farm added the phish fan angle because they knew deeprig and co. would think that was cool and it would help humanize him. Pretty clever actually

I’m in business now. Tube push, distortion, echo, etc. I’ve been thrashing power chords but want more.

Go with White Horse by Chris Stapleton. It’s multiple guitars and you always want to credit the musicians but the magic on this one is whoever twists the knobs

A lady at Buffalo Wild Wings explained to me this is a fibonacci song - it’s an audio example of cosmic design. Patterns in space are the same as a rock song

It is, but it hit right in the middle of grunge and Janet Jackson and Guns and Roses. I was the right age so it stuck.

This next one is also goofy and silly. But I love it.

Do you remember the good old days when a box of Mac and cheese was 29 cents? Nowadays people are talking about getting away from cents. That's how far we've fallen.
