These bayou boys can’t stop writing click baits about a BS charge from their offices in the crime free cultural bastion of Baton Rouge.

In my hometown in GA the police were public servants and they knew it.
Not sure why they don’t understand that in Athens but methinks someone needs to have a talk.

Beat cops of a previous Merica have been replaced by ex military. If you are too young to remember beat cops, they were deeply imbedded in a community and much better equipped to respond to situations.

Having grown up in Louisiana it takes far more to get arrested there than Athens. They literally have bigger fish to fry than someone standing in a sidewalk. Besides, they would just call Mounted police over to run his arse over with a horse there and toss the body in the Mighty Missisip.
