When does the JT Nation decide to drop the "We're saving him for TeamXYZ" narrative?
When kirby says JT is healthy but they are rolling with Stetson.

He'll never say that, and you know it.

Stet is 46 of 61 for 75%
JTD is 39 of 53 for 74%
Neither one is outstandingly better on 1st and second down.
Again, depends what stat you are looking at. May I add, the stat you posted has them both about even, which is pretty damning to the argument that JT is the "clear" starter or "better" player.
But let's dive deeper into 1st and 2nd down.
JT passer rating on 1st down - 168
Stet rating on 1st down - 239
JT passer rating on 2nd down - 130
Stet rating on 2nd down - 232
Someone else posted about the youth on the team.
JT Daniels has 3 starts on the season.
One of those 3 starts was clemson.
Brock Bowers had his first game in 2 seasons (prior game as a junior in HS. Senior year cancelled for california covid).
First game in 2 seasons for Ladd McConkey (redshirt 2020 with no play)
First game in 2 seasons for Adonai Mitchell (no 2020 season due to covid).
Understanding todd Monkens offense and executing without any prior college game experience is a big deal. It is an extremely complex option offense. Each game won is a huge amount of gained experience moving forward.

Is this part of the rabbit hole rig claims to have been digging into?

He would have to answer that.
My point is that our receivers and OL are getting better each week.
Week 1 was tough with a new C, a new RG with a cast on his hand, and our 3 best targets playing their first games in 2 years (and that previous game was against high schoolers).

And against the best D we will play all season long.
So much juicy context to be ignored or discussed.

Would you like the opportunity to amend this position?

Okay, I'll play since you said the same dumb thing on the other board. How is Clemson not the best defense we'll play in the regular season to this point in time? They still give up fewer points per game and yards per play than anyone on our schedule. Things may change as the year goes on but right now, he's right.

Hard to judge Clemson then vs now. We started the soul removal process, but it has now been fully extracted
