Throwback football!

We only attempted 2 passes in the 1980 Sugar Bowl and brought home the hardware!

You say until we lose to LSU. They better change this play calling.

But fire everyone!!!

I’m confused right now. Fromm threw like shite, our defense did what they always do, and our special team owned it!

Fire Coley!!!!! Damn you for dropped passes and an off day by Fromm throwing. Damn you for giving our defense rest on how you run it. Damn you for being 1 game away from the playoffs.

Fromm is doing everything he can to not turn the ball over. I honestly think that is why he throws the balls where he does.

He is overly afraid of a turnover.

If this is the case....he might as well turn it loose against LSU. Nothing to lose.

With our offense, we're about as far away from a natty as you can get while still be eligible.

The game is very different now than 1980.

Nearly every game has been an off game for Fromm. We're winning in spite of him, and that's the truth.

That’s not the truth at all.

I've been a Fromm supporter but it absolutely has been the truth in the last two games. Especially today.

He has a chance against LSU to make everyone forget about the last few weeks so it's all on him and the rest of the offense.

Agree about Fromm.

Gotta love the guy’s attitude but he needs to just go out there and do his thing and stop over thinking it.

Like some of you, I’m just wondering if he’s just forcing a lot of this stuff or trying to do too much. Just play pitch and catch and let the cards fall where they may.

Hate to see a talented player struggle but he truly looks like he’s regressed.

Maybe the LSU game will be the game where we expect him to shite the bed but he balls out when he needs to.

In the past he has had receivers that could make hard plays. They made circus catches like 5* receivers should. This group is learning and will eventually but are not there, yet. Remember Hardman's first couple of years when he was dropping balls?

In the past he had receivers that MIGHT have made him look a little better than he was. Now he has receivers that are making him look worse than he is.

What is missing is timing.
The consistent offenses like the Patriots have great timing between the QB and the receivers. The offense knows the play; the defense does not. If the play is well conceived so the play is not obvious and the play is well executed, a synchronized offense is hard to stop.
Translation: Fromm needs to get rid of the ball quickly. If the primary target is not open, then dump it to another outlet. He did just that successfully to Swift a couple of times but not often enough. For us to supposedly have one of the best OL in the game, we aren't getting nearly enough first downs.

So I don’t think anyone will argue, Jake can’t consistently throw a wet ball.

LSU will be indoors and we are a whole different look when we have Cager.

There are lots of reasons to stay positive here

But frick people 10-1 and control our own destiny allow yourselves a moment of enjoyment
