Intensitybin the defensive end has picked up and we are playing better. Yante just picked up his 4th foul.

I’ve never seen a star get a worse reffing treatment than Yante.
I’ve also never seen a player bite on pump fakes more than Mike Edwards.

He is like Charles Mann and JJ Frazier made a baby. Frazier’s quickness with Charles Mann’s size and his shot.

I think they took him out of a defensive possession so he the risk of fouling out was less.

When was the last time we started the season 7-1?
Few thoughts, we don’t have a shut down defender and we could really use one. We always allow one or two guys to go off every game. Maybe if we get Khavon Moore we will have the athleticism to be a higher quality defensive team.
We play with our competition to much. This will be good when we play good teams but would be awesome really pound teams we are better than. We were more athletic than Winthrop.
16 Turnovers is too many! We shot it great tonight and that’s a great sign but we need to average about 10 Turnovers per game to get where we want to be.

Winthrop did finish (26-7), won the Big South and made the NCAA tournament last year

Yeah but the eye test shows we were enough better than them that it shouldn’t have been close. We didn’t play with a lot of energy until about 6 minutes left.

predicted 2nd place finisher this year. this has been a fricking awesome start to the year for us. our loss is quality AND we have a couple good wins. im anticipating a loss to temple and then winning the rest of our non-con which would be really good heading into conference play.

Saturday will be interesting at UMASS.
Just looking at Scores...the temple game will be a great measurinf stick prior to SEC play. This team competes hard though so we should at least be in the ball park against temple.

Late to the party. I was helping my 5 year old build a gingerbread house. I was watching the game. This team finds ways to win compared to finding ways to lose. This is a rare, but positive, sign for Fox and the Dawgs thus far. Winthrop is pretty good. We're a solid team. They keep getting better every game. Really impressed with this team the last 4 games. I'm not gonna bitch about ANY win due to Fox having letdowns and LOSING this type of game like tonight.
