I have bee skeptical this whole season and bitched and whine but I was wrong not saying we are gonna win it but were staying in Athens next week to holy shite

Just got back home. I’ve been to hundreds of games at Foley and that was in the top 3. Crowd was stellar, football players sat on top of the IPF all night, eventually our audio folks said frick it and started playing Billy Squier and Krypton late. First time I’ve ever heard the entirety of Foley do the What’s That Coming Down the Track chant in unison. And it all clearly rattled the Tech pitchers. Just a surreal experience.
Almost started walking when Burress had bases loaded with nobody out; thought for sure we were done for. Finley stood in there and redeemed himself.
Wes managed an insanely good game, subbing in Toetz and trusting Harris for 6/juggling a tough bullpen situation with Goldstein misfiring. A lesser man such as myself would have been tossed by the 5th. Moment was way too big for that umpire in what to be one of the worst jobs I’ve ever seen. Just a total clown show.
The tag by Marsh will go down as one of the single greatest plays in Georgia Baseball history. Deservedly, Collins will go down with Charlie as one of the heroes of this season. Those two are as special a duo as Chubb/Sony, the Davids, etc

I thought Padysak settled down and looked good. I was kinda shocked he was pulled so quickly but nevertheless, Tech never scored again.

Watched a little recap on the ACC Network and their talking heads said UGA has no chance against NC State next week.

They are coming in hot, but durdens post on the Foley atmosphere has me believing we can beat anyone at home.

Not broke so don't fix it may apply here, but I wonder if we should consider moving Collins behind Condon in the batting order to make NC State think twice about intentionally walking Charlie.

Leader in the league of OBP should still bat ahead of Condon. Ideally, Collins gets on base and they can’t IBB Condon to put 2 on, especially with some bats behind him.
I wouldn’t mess with the lineup as is, other than maybe move Branch up, but he seems to do well towards the bottom.

Honestly I’m a bit in the dark on how they’re doing it. When I put in for mine, I had the option to also put in for Super Regional but I’ve heard others say that season ticket holders will be sent an application on Tuesday? So idk what’s going on. To be honest, the ticket distribution process has been kind of messy (I actually got reseated for this past weekend, though it actually put me closer to the field).
