However, OU was up before he half and probably pulled all of their starters. So, no comparisons can be drawn. Null and void.
No, but it is a rivalry game.
I’d actually take a lot of what Texas did in the game vs. OU and compare that to what we can do in the Rose Bowl. That says more to me than anything tomorrow will.

Dude, you completely forgot to even bring up that it was UCLAs backup QB too.....man, we gonna win by 80 based on these bowl games and neglecting our Missouri or Auburn games....guessing you are a millionaire with all the season ending bets you win in the NFL and college with your knowledge.

A real comparison conversation in one of this clowns threads, I like it. However, I would say our defense is more comparable to Ohio State and TCU from a talent perspective and look what OU did to them.....
Either way, you can’t really compare stats or scores in 1 or 2 games of “when they played or when they played a team that played another team that we played.” They feel confident in their coaches’ abilities to adjust, as do we. I personally feel like we will learn a lot from the TCU games and OSU games on how they will attack us, but in the same boat, they will be looking at Missouri’s misdirection and wheel routes and Auburn’s screen, RPO plays from the first game.
There is 1 month for both teams to prepare for the what if’s. All we gotta do is go out, play OUR game and hope that we have enough cues to shut down some of their “special” plays and adjustments.
Honestly, this is going to be a good game in one of, if not the most, historic venues in all of college football. Don’t care what QB has what experience, there will be butterflies in everyone’s belly. I trust Kirby to control those in our guys better then Lincoln. IMO, it’s goinf to come down to turnovers and that 1,2 or 3 plays that each team build into their game plan to take advantage of the base defense each team has.

Yeah, it was really just more of a comment on what we can do, not necessarily what we will. Texas actually had a really good defense this season outside of a couple games and I think is relatively comparable to us. Outstanding LBs that move well, good LB rushers, decent DL, and a very solid secondary that looks shaky on occasion. Granted, we're just a little bit better in every aspect than they are.
Control the ball, keep Mayfield in the pocket, and bottle up the run game.

How does your transitive property theory translate to tonight?
