It's okay to have a differing of opinions

I've said my piece.

You can choose to agree or disagree. What the other 97.9% of coaches do when down by 2 TDs with 10 minutes to play shouldn't have any effect on your opinion about 4th quarter 17 play drives.

Cheers

That is a lucid, intelligent and well thought-out argument.

Maybe he can be criticized for recruiting? I don't know. But if he develops the players I have no problem with us allowing other coaches concentrating on DLine recruits and letting him develop the kids.

Jordan Davis and Devonte Wyatt were great gets in the 2018 class.

Travon Walker gets a ton of snaps as a true freshman.

The recruiting grades are still out. But they have to be favorable at this point. I'm lookin forward to the 2019 class contributions next season.

I mean Auburn without Brown is what, avg. at best. Simply put, you perhaps could get an upgrade from Scott, but realistically you'll find the same caliber at best or much worse.

Michail Carter, Barnett, and Rochester are the quintessential rising seniors but have had little impact this season so far. All 4 star lineman basically missing and you still have a semi dominant d line.

I want to give Scott a full 4-5 year cycle. He's stockpiling the DEs and DTs nicely so far.

I personally agree. The old age question arises. Are we signing lower rated players and developing them, or were they just overlooked and should have been ranked higher? Travon Walker is very impressive. I can stand to miss on some higher rated players if we continue to develop the Jordan Davis' of the world. I really like him and Travon Walker.

People are a little too quick to criticize coaches sometimes.

The Dline gets an A for the season but could use more TFLs and Sacks. Against Florida we were without Julian Rochester, David Marshall and Michael Bennett. Rochester played in only one game, Tennessee. He may be heading for a RS. But Coach Scott may be holding him out until A&M snd Auburn then the post season.
Coach Scott's grade for the season is a strong A
