This isn't directed at you OP, but articles like this are so frickin stupid. "Oh, gurley could've easily walked away from the game.." what the hell? He could've walked away from the game before the season started too. We still have the east, and SECCG, and a small, outside shot at the playoffs on the line. Of course he's going to play.

Some Bama idiot over in the main rant suggested if Gurley "really" cared for his team and was contrite, he'd come back and give them another year.

If TGIII walked away after getting suspended for 4 games, he would just be another RB that left UGA before he did anything. He would be with the likes of Crowell. Just another tremendous talent that didn't help UGA win anything. To save himself from being almost unanimously hated in Athens, he kinda had to come back.
