Decision-Making: Fans might criticize Stockton for turnovers or forcing plays, especially if he throws interceptions in critical moments or against rivals like Alabama or Florida.
Accuracy Under Pressure: If Stockton struggles against elite defenses or blitz-heavy teams, fans could call out his inability to deliver in high-pressure situations.
Scrambling vs. Pocket Presence: Known for his athleticism, fans might complain if he relies too much on scrambling instead of staying in the pocket and progressing through reads. Alternatively, if he hesitates to use his legs when he should, fans could question his decision-making.
Big-Game Performance: At UGA, expectations are sky-high. Fans will quickly grow frustrated if Stockton doesn’t shine in marquee matchups or SEC Championship games.
Comparison to Predecessors: UGA fans may unfairly compare him to recent quarterbacks like Stetson Bennett or Carson Beck, especially if Stockton doesn’t match their postseason success.
Leadership: If the team lacks cohesion or chemistry, some fans may question Stockton’s ability to lead and inspire his teammates.
However, it’s worth noting that UGA fans are passionate but also fiercely supportive when a player delivers results. Stockton could just as easily become a fan favorite if he rises to the occasion.

Ask it how an ignorant impoverished person in Georgia would critique Gunner Stockton 12 months from now, hypothetically.

An ignorant and impoverished critic in Georgia, hypothetically, might offer a mix of oversimplified, emotional, or uninformed takes. These criticisms might lack nuance or deeper understanding of football strategy, relying more on surface-level observations or frustration. For instance:
“He’s overrated!”
They might dismiss Stockton’s talent entirely, especially if UGA doesn’t dominate every game, chalking up any success to luck or the team around him.
“All he does is throw interceptions!”
If Stockton has a few bad games or key turnovers, they might focus entirely on those mistakes without context or acknowledgment of other factors.
“Why doesn’t he just run the ball?!”
They could grow frustrated if Stockton hesitates to use his legs in situations where they feel a dual-threat QB should take off.
“He ain't no Stetson Bennett!”
A nostalgic take might surface, with them comparing Stockton to beloved former players without appreciating differences in style or context.
“He’s soft!”
If Stockton avoids contact or doesn’t seem visibly tough in games, they might latch onto stereotypes about what a "real" football player should look or act like.
“He’s only starting because of politics!”
They could speculate unfounded claims, like favoritism or recruiting politics, as the reason Stockton has the starting job, rather than his abilities.
“They paying him too much for this!”
With NIL deals in play, they might vent frustrations about perceived overpayment if Stockton has a rough patch.
This kind of critique often stems from frustration or disconnection rather than legitimate insight, painting a picture of someone speaking more from emotion than understanding.
Lol pretty on point

I mean, Stetson Bennet was not Stetson Bennet for a large part of his time with the Dawgs.
To begin with, he was too short...thankfully he became taller after winning the first NC.

You are arguing with someone who should be a mental patient, a ward of the state. He's legitimately insane. Think the brother-in-law on Ozark.
