Ok, I'm already looking ahead. Tech is 6-4 with a few quality wins and only one real bad loss to ND. They are ranked #2 in ACC in team defense. They do a lot of RPO and King gave us fits last year. I think it's a night game which should play in our favor. Still ticket prices are fairly cheap on Stubhub. The students are out and typically the Tech game at home hasn't been a marquee game in a while. I guess lot of people are busy with Thanksgiving. I haven't talked to any Tech fans but this is probably the first time since 2016 they feel like they have a shot.

Last year was our first facing faulkner and I think he caught us off guard a bit. I have to think our D will be better prepared this go around. With it being at home at night I can't imagine losing this game.

You should be able to. That's the only stadium they beat us in.

Running QB and good RB

Coach that hates us and probably has been practicing to beat us all year.

Gonna be a war

I expect Tech to show up but hopefully that Run/hit that Carson took opened his mind and he continues to play well. If we’re clicking on offense, it doesn’t matter who we’re playing. The defense will be ready.

The fact that it’s going to be a Friday night game for the first time ever is definitely making me uncertain how we turn out. Although a playoff spot on the line will probably bring out a lot of people regardless

Just worried about the edge. They hit the edge as quickly as anyone we have played this year. They killed Miami with it. And that QB has wheels. This will be a huge challenge . Offense must continue where they left off against UT.

Tech essentially has two bye weeks in the month before this game, so they have extra time to get healthy and prepare. I'll feel better if we get more WRs and RBs available in the next week and a half.

For all the Buster Faulkner love on here, Buster Faulkner has shown that he will run a quarterback into the ground. Haynes King hasn't been doing well physically going on a month and a half now.

Practice for them starts this week. My guess is Kirby wants to pound Brent Key after his shite talking in the off season

They play NC State this weekend and they are not immune to losing games like that

There is no SECG this year for us, which means they will put everything on the line to beat GT and then rest for 3 weeks for the first round

Tech got bowl eligible.
They have nothing else to play for other than to ruin our season by beating us and keeping us out of the playoffs.
It’s gona be a tough game against an inferior opponent. We have played down to almost every inferior opponent this year.

This! After Kirby gets burned by an offence once, he doesn't get burned by it twice. I feel pretty good that the staff will have a plan for it and have been prepping for it all year like they used to with CJP's triple option.

Last regular season game for a senior class that’s never lost to Tech?
At home?
At night?
On Black Friday?
Sanford is going to be bananas, can’t wait.

True, but as someone pointed out, Tech is already bowl eligible. In Brent Key's situation, I think he might see risking the NC St game for a chance to knock UGA out of the playoffs as equivalent to risking two pair for the chance at a royal flush. Probably a losing tradeoff, but the upside is great and the downside limited.

The last 2 years make me expect nothing other than a dog fight. As pointed out we have played down to lesser teams all year. Look at the Kentucky, Miss St, and to some degree Auburn game. This would be Tech's biggest win over UGA in my lifetime('71).

Miami was Georgia Tech's Super Bowl. They played completely out of their minds and left it all on the field. It's hard to win 2 Super Bowls in 4 weeks.

Key was mouthing off at a Tech event earlier this year. He said he hates absolutely everything about Georgia. He was totally obnoxious and disrespectfull while showing off in front of about 37 hard core insect fans.
It was a dumb, stupid thing to do. He isn’t nearly as clever as Tech believes.
Bet Kirby will be quoting him non stop and have his speech posted in huge letters in the locker room. Great bulletin board material. And as any Dawg knows, disrespecting UGA isn’t smart. Tech gonna pay. BIG time
