The 3-4 might be the worst defense to stop todays hurry up/spread/QB read offense.

What makes you say that?

Not really. I could say the 4-2-5 is the right defense (might be the most ideal) for Clemson considering how Scar has been able to handle them.

FSU is almost exclusively in a 4-2-5 defense vs. Clemson. Whatever defense you utilize vs. such an offense needs to have a surplus of speed in the front 6-7.

Yes but that sounds kind of generic. Go 2-5 and then the OC calls plays designed to just knock you back and pound you up the middle. It's the same reason you wouldn't go 0-0-11.

Grantham sent 12 players onto the field in the Florida game this past season after a timeout. A. Mother.fricking.Time.Out.

I'm pretty sure that was Muschamp, not Grantham.

Pretty sure you're wrong. As a matter of fact, I think he did it in two games this year.

I thought CTG did that at a critical spot too.

Grantham and Co. were working with a lot of guys with little to no playing experience.

I wonder if the experience shows this time around, and the subsequent credit goes to Pruitt.
