I can't believe they are still complaining about targeting calls but they are.

I can believe it because those pathetic midwestern bastards still have another month of winter.

They have nothing else to do except to whine online. Deep down they all know this will be their last chance to make nonsensical excuses for their program because after this year it will become apparent to everyone in that fanbase that their coach is a complete and utter fraud.

I guess we aren't going to get the Stroud story. And that's very disappointing. I bet I could get the story from TalkinDawgs.

Sorry. Cell phone died.

There isn't much of a story. And I don't know how true it is. You may be just as well to get it from another source.

Stroud was left stranded twice on his official visit to UGA. Once was at a bar and a second time he was left downtown without a ride back to the school.

He went from being a big fan of UGA to "not wanting to talk about it".

The rumor is that Carson beck was responsible for him. But that doesn't make sense because Beck was a recruit as well (who would put a recruit as a caretaker of another recruit on an official visit?).

I don't put any faith in the story. I think it is pretty much a bunch of half truths.

To be honest and if you really honest with yourself I can see our fan base doing the exact same thing if it was the opposite. If that hit was on our best player, and it affected the outcome of the game we would absolutely be bitching about it. Now too much time has pasted and they need to get over it, but it's definitely understandable why some won't let it go. Crazy no one's talking about the wide left field goal though.

But we don't go around bitching about SECCG game losses with injuries to Javon wins. Or Jeremiah Holloman. Or Jordan Davis.
We don't bitch about seccg losses with 69 scholarship players (and our starting NT playing DE with no rotation or substitution through the game).

We don't bitch about losses without Todd Gurley, AJ Green, David Greene, DJ Shockley.

We aren't like that at all.

Lol I've literally heard our fan base bitch about those things. None of it even matters at this point we the champs 2 years in a row and that's really all that matters. Ohio State can bitch all they want at the end of the day "Work Harder" That's all I can say.

Fans find any excuse to complain and our fans are not any different. The question is whether or not a particular complaint has merit.

I find the star-player-missing complaint to be less compelling to me when you have great recruiting classes year after year and are deep in the position where the star player plays.

A team like Marshall or Cincinnati going on a run with a talented and experienced senior class and then have a key contributor go down counts more to me than a team like Alabama or OSU, who consistently have top classes and are loaded with talent at most positions. I expect teams stacked with talent and war chests that fund the best coaches and staff to develop players better than those teams that don’t have those things. Next man up.

I didn't hear any bitching from our fans before the 2021 natty. We let things go.

If you can't see a difference then I can't help you.

Our fan base understands that Kirby recruits depth and when there's an injury we expect the next man up. Bama did it to us in the 2018 NCG
