He was never our first choice for OC and we don't want him to form relationships with recruits when we ship his arse outta town for a better OC

As a high school football coach, I've personally seen and talked to Coach Chaney at a football game to visit Trevor Lawrence so he does actively recruit players. I stood with him during pregame on the sideline and watched him drool over Lawrence as he warmed up.
