Didn't hurt as it would have been a sack out of fg range. I think Kirby told him, whatever you do, don't take a sack..

It most definitely was worse than a sack
Even with a sack you can try to pin them with a punt. The thing to do was to hit the wide open targets in the middle of the field
The last thing you should is throw it weakly to no one and get it intercepted

Oh I'm well aware of the rule. Just sucked that it flew off like that and there wasn't a foul on the play.
