Reject may not be the best word to use, but if he wasnt the clear cut number 2 qb at uva coming out of spring practice, he would have never left uva.

I think the issue was he wasn't the clear cut 1 last season either and their offense just wasn't that good. A chance for a fresh start at UGA with a QB spot open is not a bad move... Especially when the HC tells you that you have a shot and you have a degree already from a great school.

After the uva coach basically said he had no shot and our coach said the opposite, it's Basically a no brainer there.

Again, I ask that you look at the stats for both QBs last year and deduce how a QB would have no shot.

Lambert may lose his job next week. He may never be good at UGA, but he isn't a UVA reject. Let's hope he clicks.

Neither played well. Just read the head coach's loud words. He was the clear backup, not a reject.

There's no question that Johns was the better QB for Virginia. They needed the QB that can run for his life better.

Several of the throws he made Sat were catchable. The biggest mistake I saw was the throw into coverage near the Vandy EZ in the first half. Should have been intercepted. I'm hoping that he and some of our receivers can get into a rhythm soon, preferably this week. A decent passing game to compliment our running game and flying D makes us dangerous.

I couldn't get over how often he seemed to be throwing at the receiver's feet! I'm scared until he proves to be consistently accurate. Yeah he has the arm, but the accuracy worries me.

He needs to be better ... No doubt. There is enough evidence to support the possibility and some that says he may not be. Being manic about it is not going help your favorite ball club in any way, but it kinda makes one look like the dude you would frag if given the opportunity.

They are busy hollering his name. We need the defense to step up and make a play. All together...I'm enjoying this game so far.

Hell, all we need is a freaking game manager at QB who can occasionally throw the ball deep to keep defenses honest and prevent them from stacking the box, while minimizing mistakes like interceptions and sack-fumbles, and we don't even have that.

Actually, we may have that in Ramsey or Bauta, but we don't really know for certain. What we do know for 1000% certain, is that Lambert is not capable of being that guy.

And acting like "well he did ok in the second half and hasn't thrown any ints" isn't close to changing the reality of who he is. That's nothing more than tossing sugar on a turd and saying it won't taste as bad anymore.
extensive analysis throughout the thread. Very confident. Very wrong. Shocker, the coaches were playing who they thought was the best man for the job.

Many achieved enlightenment from their couches last Saturday. And patted themselves on the back about it. And flaunted it. As validation of their far-seeing insight....

Uh oh.

I'd like to thank Jesus, Jefferson, and Al Gore... For, without them, this would not be possible.

I was talking about the folks that achieved enlightenment about Lambert and the rest of the season last saturday.

Meaning, we were doomed. In their opinion.

Peter buck misinterpreted my post. I was agreeing with him.

You and others had achieved enligjtenment about the fate of the season this time last week.

Jokes on you. Peter buck wins. Dawgs too.
