Stet does not suck, but he’s not the QB that can carry us past a team like Bama when we need 42 points

we should not have let them score 42 in the first place. How did Auburn sack BY 7 times and we didn't touch him?

We did need 42 today, however whenever our all world defense gives up 41 points, I have a hard time blaming the offense.

That’s where I am. Stet had some bad moments (and good), but I’m having a hard time putting this loss on his performance.

Maybe next year. Because we damn sure went smell the playoffs

Don't overreact.

1. Making the playoffs will be iffy. We could still make them, but it is in doubt now.

2. Our D is very good. Had we rushed more players earlier it might have been a different game. When we rushed 5-6 Young became unsettled and they struggled.

3. Again. Don't overreact. Remember how close Auburn played Alabama? people overreacted to that, too. NEVER get too far up or too far down after a game like this.

How can the playoff committee bump us after going undefeated and losing to the #3 team in the SECG as the #1 team? Politics could play in. I was listening to an interview on the radio today and there was a guy complaining that the west coast never had any representation in the playoffs. He was saying if college football wants to keep national interest, they need to include more geographic reasons. The committee could move ahead and go with Michigan, Bama, Cincy, and Notre Dame. I think Notre Dame screwed themselves by not playing in a conference championship.

There’s literally ZERO chance we’re left out, especially after OKSt lost today.

It's not that we lost. it's how we lost. We could still make it, but it is not a foregone conclusion anymore. If we don't make it, we have only ourselves to blame.

I could easily see:

1. Michigan
2. Alabama
3. Cincinnati
4. Notre Dame

Or some version with these teams in it.

The media and committee loves Notre Dame. They can easily say that Notre dame lost one game and have improved since. They would love to get a G5 team in, and Cincinnati's big win today could, and probably should get them in.

If ND jumps us then the whole thing is a sham. There absolutely no way in fricking hell ND should be in without playing an extra tough game.

Stet is a really good Highschool player and a good backup, but he should not have started today.

Notre Dame won't get in over us. Committee already said they're taking Notre Dame losing their coach into consideration. Plus past performances in the playoffs, plus not playing in a conference championship.

Alabama has Bryce Young, a sophomore already projected as a 1st round pick for 2023. Michigan has Cade McNamara, a redshirt sophomore. Cincinnati has Desmond Ridder, a junior who's projected to be a 1st round pick this spring.

Our hopes are tied to Stetson Bennett, a 5th year senior with no current draft projection for 2022.

Imagine this program if we can have a top shelf QB at the helm.

We have a 5* holding a clipboard. One that is undefeated as a starter at UGA. Just imagine if he could get some playing time.

Be careful. The StetSoyBoys will call you mean names for not falling in line and accepting todays results without criticism.

Has to mean something when all over social media both former players and current commits are all calling for JT.
