They just played the Stet presser clip on espn during the Birmingham bowl halftime show. It’s even more impactful hearing him say it than just reading it.
You can tell it does bother him to have to talk about how a segment of his fan base hates him though.

Bennett sounds extremely defensive, honestly. He apparently knows that the fanbase prefers that he not be UGA's quarterback by about a 7 to 1 margin. Maybe he should just can it and go out and have a 400 yard passing game with no INTs rather than talking.

All of us who question Stetson’s ability to win a big game will actually need to be given credit for creating the “chip” on Bennett’s shoulder. I hope he proves us all wrong and I have to eat crow. Only time will tell…
