Auburns fans ain't left the field yet....they gonna eat a weeks worth of rat poisonous....meanwhile Sabans heir apparent has a three hour jump on getting ready .....and our starters were out of action mid way through third quarter....it ain't going to be easy but we gotta shot......

And that's where your critical thinking has broken down. You don't have to hope or not hope for it; it happened. He got hurt. You're basically saying you wished he DIDN'T get hurt so he could be healthy to play us...why? If something happened that is beyond everyone's control but God why would you be upset about it considering it helps us?
The overall, bottom line, main point is we want to win the game. Anything that helps us do that is good news. Yet some people want to make it harder on us so they can get some sort of extra super duper sense of pride. Makes no sense.

Eh, I think Carry-on will be back next week. May not be the same though. Auburn is still a bad matchup for Georgia though.
You think everyone is a bad matchup for UGA.

Yeah, I know they got hurt. I'm saying I hope they recover.
quote:No. What I'm saying is that I hope they get well for the game, but just to play along, sure, I "wish" that they didn't get hurt. I said why, already. I want to see our team prove they are the better team without any excuses from Auburn.

quote:I'm not upset about what happened. I'm merely stating that if I had the choice, I'd prefer that they play healthy so that there wouldn't be a doubt about who the better team is when we beat them next Saturday. If we win and their hurt players aren't able to play, I won't be sad or upset.

The way I see it is it's part of it. Gus has leaned on that kid all season. Maybe too much? That's a lot of hits he's taken. I hate it for Kerryon if he can't go but it becomes a team health/ depth issue. Most teams are banged up this time of year.

I'm sorry to say it, but you're a fricking idiot. This is the SEC championship with a spot in the playoffs on the line. You should get a sense of pride by going 12-1 and winning the SEC regardless if one of their players is healthy or not. I mean seriously WGAF!?!?!
Last year Kam Pettway was absolutely mauling people and was leading their offense. Do you somehow look down upon our win over auburn last year because he was hurt? Do you think the Alabama media guides put an asterisk beside the 2009 national championship becuase colt mccoy got hurt? No, they have a trophy in their case that has no asterisks on it.
I absolutely guarantee you that if for example tim tebow was injured in 08 or 09 and we won those games youd' be hooting and hollering and put those pictures as your computer background, but I guess it's a good thing we got them at their best right?

IDGAF if they let Sean White back on the team and start him.
A win is a fricking win.

No surprise KJ got injured. Gus runs his RBs into the ground. Did you see AU's offense after he left the game -- not good.

Pressure is on Auburn next week. They've beat two #1 teams but now they have to do it on the road. According to today's broadcast, Kirby has already been in touch with the league office to keep an eye on defensive holding, a strategy that allowed them to keep their corners on an island against our offense. Chances of them getting away with it again drops precipitously thanks to Kirby being proactive.
The only thing that worries me is that Auburn's D has now held Georgia and Alabama's strong running games to low yardage. Bama tried passing early to set up the run and the run game still was stifled. Kirby and staff are going to have to put an assload of trust in Mr. Fromm if we want to win. Will be interesting if Cleveland improves our pass protection any.

is chaney.
I'm not one of those guys that removes 4-7 bad plays from us and 3-5 good plays from them and tries to make it look like a butt whooping wasn't a butt whooping. We got shellacked against Auburn but with all that said it was an even game in teh 2nd quarter and there were 3 possessions that absolutely turned the tide and basically let them run away with it. And some of that was self inflicted. I say all that to say that I think this Saturday will look far more like the iron bowl and less like DSOR. I also think them not having the crowd behind them will be huge.
however...chaney terrifies me. We have literally never seen chaney outscheme an opposing team. Every game we've won the last 2 years has either been because we've been more talented, we could impose our will running on them, or our defense was lights out. This is the main reason I wanted AU instead of bama because chaney vs pruitt would be like a body builder fighting a cripple. But we at least have hope. I can only hope that he has learned from teh film and will try to throw on got damn 1st down every now and then. And maybe run outside.
Posted on 11/25/17 at 7:20 pm to WG_Dawg
Yeah, Chaney has to open up the offense and not go all Dan Reeves.
It's time to challenge them deep and test their perimeter run defense.
P.S. I'd expect a few guys to not go unscathed in a competitive rivalry.

Those retards over there have a thread about how Kirby is a little bitch for doing it... they don't even care that they cheat.

quote:No, I don't look down on our win from last year but it wasn't a great team we were playing and our team wasn't that great, either. They didn't have a good QB like they have in Stidham. Not really the point, though.

I don't care what other teams do. I'm not an Auburn fan. They celebrate Nick Fairley, so yeah, they have no class.

Any news on K Johnson’s injury?

I think he tweeted that he'll be fine.

What "sneak by"? Injuries are part of the game. A big part of winning a title in any sport is just being less beat-up than the other team.

I agree. My point is being missed so I won't respond further. I'm just saying that I would rather beat a healthy Auburn team than an injured one.
