They are more of a threat to us… how can we be a threat to them? If Kirby wins it this year it’s a dynasty. Texas hasn’t won it in two decades.

Nah, Kirby is a master motivator. If you don't think he's in that locker room telling those kids the names and numbers of the kids in the Texas locker room who he had ready to commit to UGA only for Texas to swoop in and pay them, you're crazy. Paint them as divas. Paint them as whores instead of competitors. Culture. Blah, blah blah. Basically, take their pride so they're just left with nothing more than an empty check and less likely to get into the NFL.

We’re the hunters not the hunted. We’re the threat, we’re the apex predator. They’re the young wildebeest with the limp.
That said….they have this game circled in red after last year.
However, Arch is a first year starter. He may win the Heisman, an Emmy and be Times most amazing man of the year at some point…but next year he’s in for 4 quarters for the first full year as a starter against a bunch of big UGA guys that are going to want to kill him.

Significant numbers from what I’ve heard. For the ILB Atkinson, it was around double what we offered. In terms of raw numbers, $750K-$1M difference.
