Hicks has a hamstring injury and who is left to play fullback?

Probably Payne. Hicks didn't even play that much fullback last year anyway so not sure why this is a big deal.

Payne has a fracture in his fibula, or one of his leg bones. It's hairline but will keep him sidelined for several weeks. We moved over a walkon linebacker to FB.

Payne will probably start once he's healthy, but Richt said after practice yesterday that Hicks was "close" to returning back to practice.

And like Crispy said, we have a walk-on guy practicing at FB right now. He was a former Red Sox system guy from what I've seen. 22 year old Freshman

I feel like if Douglas got bigger he could be a really good FB. Just a baller.

is that much smaller than Maxy or Payne?
If they were ever gonna move him, now is the time

I've thought the same.

I also have wondered if they would give Jackson Harris a few snaps out of that spot, a la Bruce Figgins a few years back.

He's probably too tall though.
