UGA baseball if more of a head-scratcher than UGA hoops. Travel Baseball was practically invented at East Cobb. We could never leave the state and field a nationally ranked baseball team.
And not one D1 school in the state made the NCAA's.GT and Georgia Southern all used to field tourny teams and the state's JC programs pretty much suck and used to be nationally ranked while the in-state talent has grown exponentially.
Unbelievable strange.
