Rewatching the game and I've lost count of the blown coverages by Poole. We need Brini and Speed back there. Brini plays his arse off and Poole is a huge liability and Bama just kept going after him.

Its in the second quarter and even Danielson is railing on how much room Poole gave Bolden. Poole absolutely can not play in the playoffs. Ringo had one blown coverage on Billingsley that was bad but Poole is awful. Where the hell is Brini and Speed?

When Bryce runs the td. Poole and Ringo double covering Bolden and no one there on Bryce. If I had to guess Poole should have played up. Ringo doesn't need help. Poole is absolutely responsible for that drive. 2 blown coverages on that drive before that. There is no way I would play him again. He needs to transfer.

did we ever get an answer on why pool was even playign to begin with? He has barely played even in mopup 40+ blowout games ALL YEAR, and played almost exclusively in the biggest game of the year. Was brini hurt or something ?

Was there someone missing that usually plays? Wonder if something happened before the game. Could something with AA caused them mentally break down?

I feel like Brini had a great season, but he was subbed out mid-game during the UT game after they had a few successful drives, and it seems like they've been trying to figure out that STAR position ever since.

I know Adam anderson being out fricked us up there but it was just odd to me that brini has gotten a ton of PT all year with poole barely seeing the field then we went exclusively to poole in the biggest game, while playign completely differnet coverages than we have all year too. Just a really mind boggling defensive gameplan

forget about all year, the dude is a senior and has barely played at all.
saw some saying it was just Kirby and defensive staff just overthinking things. idk, but he was lost as shite out there. to be fair to Kirby, Brini had been overmatched a lot too. especially against UTK, which was the only team we played that had a somewhat similar style. C. Smith is probably the best star candidate, but that leaves D. Jackson playing at safety, which did not go well either on Saturday.
that position is our achilles heel and Bama expolited the frick out of it. Though, losing Metchie should dampen their ability to do it again, if we play them again.
im hoping one of the freshmen can morph into something in the next 20+ days to give us a better option.

I think Brini is not making Kirby happy with how he’s playing. During the Tech game I heard Kirby yell at Brini something to the effect of “Brini, do your job, or get your arse off the field !”. He was the reason for the late score against UF, that’s why Ringo was so pissed!
