Early in episode one, so not technically a spoiler- the jump to the first human is from the lab rat. So animals can get the virus. Do they also get hive minds? What was with the otherwise worthless dialog about releasing zoo animals? And the issues with lions? And the lady talking about yelling at the giraffe eating her tree? Would that cause animal and/or human deaths?

her "chaperone" was a female clone of one of her male novel characters, so they arent all just zombies of preexisting humans, they can morph/clone. or they found an infected human who was the spitting image of a fictional character?
When the “chaperone” arrives in albequrqy and we get to see her tight bare arse walking into the shower, there’s a wig and wardrobe staff all around. So it’s not so much morphing as it is staging by the we/us. The key thing we learn here is that Carol and her lovers lesbian secret about Carols pirate books being based on a woman is somehow knowable by the we/us. Remember that right before the rapture they had that conversation about what real male was the antagonist Raban based on, and Carol said to say George Clooney to be safe. When in reality, the secret that only Carol and her publicist wife know is that Raban is based on a pirate chick because they prefer pussy. And the chaperone shows up dressed like that secret

This is a good observation. Note that the radio signal had been transmitted from 600,000 light years away. Before humanity on earth even existed. Once received, it was humans that decoded it and replicated the RNA and started experimenting on different animals until that rat bit that one dipshit lady and the outbreak then occurred. Animals don’t get the virus unless human scientists start trying to play God and give it to them in misguided Fauci experiments

I believe this is part of setting the stage of what Carol’s crusade is really about. Is numb happiness where the zoo animals are set free and nobody eats meat and there’s no pain or conflict really happiness?

“Quaternary” Lines
That’s a word that is said four times in episode 1 and i looked it up and it means of or consisting of 4 units or members
The first time it gets defined by the Asian nerd lady she is sitting next to a glass window divided by lines into four parts. This exact 4 part pattern is next seen at the rapture when Carol and her lady go out for a cigatette and see the parallel contrails. Carol even mockingly does a drunk test line walk on its edge to try and get you blind fricks to notice it. It’s a totally non sensical and unfunctional piece of pavement in a parking lot. It’s 100% symbolic. Quarternary!
Later in the episode we learn that the alien radio signal is made up of 4 LINEAR components . (Quarternary.) Guanine, Uracil, Adenine, and Cytosine. Represented in the explanation by Four squiggly LINES. The recipe for RNA “a psychic glue binding us all together
Unreal

Wild theory:
This is a long shot, but I want to put it in writing just in case. Would be a walk off grand slam if its correct…
I’ve been thinking about what they showed us of Carol’s life before the rapture. About how she has this gift to write novels that bring so much happiness and joy to a certain type of person and how she’s repulsed by it all and refers to her work as “mindless slop”. Then there’s the scene at the bar right before the rapture where her lady asks her about the book Carol has been working on for 5 years. Carol defensively says only 4 and a half years and says her readers aren’t ready for it because its so different and that it needs polishing.
Theory—->What if what we are watching is actually that book? ?
Certainly, the post rapture world parallels the same struggles she had before relating to her book audience and what does and doesn’t make for happiness. It’s the same struggle but global.
Anyway, just remember this post if the final scene of this entire series is Carol and her very much still alive girlfriend signing copies of a book called “Plur1bus”.

If that's how it ends I'll be pissed.
But the end of BCS also pissed me off.

I came split seconds from tapping out after the stupid political caricature of episode 1 where “far right” “nationalists” are looking to behead Muslims for no reason.
Then came the twists. Solid show
I have trouble understanding what they say sometimes though. Also, farts are hilarious

Evidently I don’t watch enough tv. I thought you were talking about money.

Many are one. I won't be able to watch E3 until later tonight. I can't wait.

I haven’t seen 3 yet either. It dropped last night for some reason I believe
Episode is called “Grenade”. I’m betting that’s a fake out. We’ll see soon
I’m also getting Plur1bus texts linking to Apple Books app with Winds of Wycaro reviews and excerpts. This is so awesome

E3 thoughts-
It doesn't pick up where the last one left off. Still wondering what happened with AF1 tarmac scene to end E2.
The drones are becoming more colloquial and less robotic. They are learning.
E3 is a nice slowdown pace from the first two episodes, gives you more backstory on the main character, but definitely ends in a bang.

She has eggs frozen. They are most certainly tampering with them.

Something else..... They mentioned Rick Steves twice. I know who he is and have seen some of his shows on PBS, but my dad is obsessed with him.
There's no way Rick Steves got mentioned twice in the same episode without some Rick Steves shite going down later.
For those who don't know Rick Steves, he's the guy who has had the travel show on PBS of decades. I'm pretty sure he's still doing it.

That’s why his shows are exceptional . He could of spent 8 precious minutes of air time showing AF1 shut down and repark and them moving the stair thing to the door and then Carol demanding that Zosia not go to Vegas to join a sex harem with greasy french fellow. (Since apparently she has control over her) But instead…. it jump cuts to Zosia back on Carol’s plane instead. Trusting us to fill in that blank in time. Which is awesome
That was actually my favorite part of the episode. How he didn’t hold our hands. The rest was somewahat infuriating though. fricking Sprouts getting restocked? What a waste of time
Except that I think it was suppose to underscore the whole purpose and theme of this third episode. Something that was hinted at with greasy French af1 fellow last week. Which is that ….
The we/us have to do whatever the 13 tell them to do. No matter what.
20 minutes at Sprouts was gay though
This feels like it’s getting political. I don’t know. I have to let it percolate what I just saw

Also, I believe the texts from Plur1bus about the Winds of Wycaro books with a reminder that Raban comes back on page 222 was about how Carol’s gal Helen showed up in the opening ice sequence
It was obvious that the real world actress that plays Helen wouldn’t take a part for 2 minutes in this show. She’s gonna be a main character. And my wild theory about them signing books in the last scene of this series is more in play than when I predicted it

- most awesome and creative Lines usage yet was the bar codes all over everything that came in the mail
-not sure if Indigo,Girls story was suppose to be hilarious. I think it was a self deprecating line meant to poke fun about middle aged dudes writing a series about lesbians. Imean, what else would they listen to

-the we/us collective is always happy….and cares for, adores, and provides for all. Even and especially those outside of the collective
-the individual, on the other hand, demands everything for themselves. Is always angry (in the case of Carol), gluttonous (in the case of greasy french fellow), etc etc
I know that wont be the simplistic end of this thing. But thats where were at now
