There are almost 200 SEC players in the portal right now, and only three of them are UGA players.
How is this possible?

We are in the fricking playoffs. I’d imagine the numbers are similar at both UT schools. We are going to lose 15-20 players

If spring semester starts in early January, and these guys still have to pretend like they're playing school, when are they all going into the portal?

Takes a real dick to transfer in the middle of an SEC Championship with a Natty on the line.
Personally would not want to portal in a player with that much quit in them.

The get 5 days after the season to jump in the portal.
These aren’t student athletes anymore so I’d suspect exceptions would be made for late enrollment at schools.

Was listening to one of the podcasts and they talked of how agents are contacting and throwing money at players who haven't expressed any sort of desire to enter the portal. That shite needs to stop.

I honestly think the collective model is the future. Revenue sharing across the team will hold players who want NFL development, win championships, and maybe take less for more certainty in other important categories. NIL seems to create toxicity when given to those who haven't proved anything at the college level.
