Backups played no part of us losing. Fromm missing Ridley with 8 minutes to play in the 3rd and the missed field goal was the "problem". How about Fromm sliding short of the first down with under a minute left in the 3rd. Sound like a problem to me. How about missing Ridley across the middle on the next play for a first down. On the 3rd and 11 with 3:15 left, stepping up in the pocket would have baited the linebackers leaving the slot open. I wonder what QB has done that to us, that's right, Hurts. Stop blaming the "backups for shite". There were plays that should have been made to make it difficult for Bama to come back.
