Hey R&B...in your medical professional opinion, did I take the proper course in self-treatment, as a visit to the Dr. Office was not an option over the weekend?
I'm asking in earnest.
Edit: This shite seems to have morphed into an ear infection in my left ear. I am afraid I am going to need some antibiotics to get rid of it...those things should be available over the counter. No one is going to go get antibiotics to get high on.

Go to a quick care. Don't frick around with anything in your ear.

The quick and the dirty. Yes, dehydration is most likely the cause of your urine concentration..the problem is the preceptors to your dehydration. You most likely need antibiotics and have a nasty infection. Any fever, if so, how high? Any fatigue, loss of balance, headaches, nausea, vomiting, or change in taste or smell You most likely need to Get a 14 day dose of a broad spectrum antibiotic if possible, not the 3 day or 7 day, any abdominal or pelvic issues?soreness?pain? If so, you need to get to a Dr. now. Do you have a convenient care center near you, low cost, fairly quick, in and out..
I'm ruling out liver issues, cirrhosis, odd food items, and the chance that you might be on any current antibiotic based on the fact that you had previous symptoms point toward respiratory/systemic issues....drink lots of fluid,,water,..I'm assuming you're a fairly healthy guy but dehydration leads to filtration and renal issues eventually.
50 dollars at a quickie care is worth your time and money, if you have an infection, you're not going to get rid of it with tylenol most likely...Hope you feel better soon

shite yeah...ive had a fever or some grade or another for about 5 days straight. Its been kept under control since Saturday with Tylenol. No abdominal issues, no dizziness, etc. Was just a nasty sore throat, high fever and dehydration. Fever was 103 overnight on Saturday...101-102 most of the day Sunday, and been steadily going down since then even when I am not medicated. I can just feel whatever the infection is moving from my throat to my ear.
No convenient quick care facilities nearby...may have to suck it up and drive 30 miles to the nearest one, lol.
Yes, I am fairly healthy. I am almost never sick. Usually takes something that is just flat out filthy to get me in the first place.
Ive got the fluids working now, and hydration is returned to balance. Im just going to need to get the antibiotics to get rid of this shite. Ive done everything else I could...well, I probably set myself back a couple of days by working with a fever over 100 both Saturday and sunday....and today.

So what exactly is your medical profession? It seems like if you was a doctor you would of came out and said that.
Also marijuana might be bad for the lungs, but it can prevent lung cancer. Also thc is a more potent antioxidant than Vit C!! Also, the bear and water analogy you made, is complete retarded. I was comparing cannabis as a medicine, and actually 20 states and washington DC agree w/ this, to other prescription pills that are much more harmful. Now I know no one or ever heard of anyone using a bear as a means of transportation, so again your comparison makes no sense.
Also, do you really think the US is up to par with other countries in the medical marijuana field? We have made it illegal to do research on cannabis, while other countries, like Israel, are leading the way. Also, the govt has done a study on cannabis, and shut it down b/c of the amazing results they found.
So how bad is it again?

JFC...dense is an understatement...
You're right, I'm not an MD, I'm a medical janitor,,,the hospital is just kind enough to allow me to practice anesthesia and manage surgical cases.....
got my license via a weekend crash course
Your agenda clouds your logic, and all things relative, you obviously don't know what you don't know...
and frankly, you're all over the place with your personal crusade...but, I'm sure you know more than I do on the medical front...after all, my many years of education, and experience, what do I know?
Your kidding me,,I thought bear commuting was common..who would of thunk it?
Our resident Cardiovascular surgeon who is also one of the best Pulmonologist in the country wanted me to let you know you sir are an idiot, but primarily, a moron...lmao Priceless.. Thank you for making my night excellent!
I'm heading to OR 3,,playtime is over...maybe one day..good fortune will find you in my care

Had it for several days. Passed out with fever. Went to the Dr twice (I never go). Pulled a muscle in my rib age coughing. Cough lasted at least 3 weeks. Nasty stuff!

Wow, that was a terrible reply, so basically u can't deny cannabis as a medicine, surely you know of how well it treats and can kill tumors and cancer with all your great knowledge? Like I said, I haven't been sick for for over a decade and I attribute it to cannabis. Also you must surely know of our endocannabinoid system that controls most of our bodily functions, and it just so happens that there is a plant out there...cannabis....that can provide relief and help to our lowered endocannabinoid system with hardly any side effects. But hey keep your pills and keep popping them, bc ignorance is Bliss.
Don't worry about replying back if your just gonna pussy foot around and produce no true rebuttal. And just bc you say your in the medical profession, doesn't automatically make you a Dr, or is dr's the only medical professionals out there.

No the USA is not up to par with other nations regarding cannabis. It is illegal to do research on cannabis in the USA, so that right there is the biggest problem. Also did you not look up Israel or Spain's medical marijuana research?
And how advanced is our medical field? All the pills they push on you has so many side effects, and cancer research is a huge profit industry, and no recognized cure by the FDA exists. I dont trust Dr's to cure any problem, all they want to do is relieve the symptoms, not cure it....not a lot of money in curing people. Now I would go to dr's for broken bones or surgeries, but not to cure an aliment that I might have.
I don't think the Dr's are at fault, just the pharmaceutical companies who publish the books that the Dr's learn from in school. You make more money off sick people than healthy, I guess that's why pharmaceutical companies are making record profits.

WTF does this topic have to do with me? I didn't comment on marijauna...this time, but I will at your request. I can't give detailed info on how scientists have studied marijuana on mice, becuase I am neither a scientist nor a mouse. I can only speak from prior experience. I agree, it doesn't make one smarter, or enhance good looks, but I haven't met anyone who said it made them feel amazingly beautiful anyway. However, it does in fact help with concentration so much so that you may be stuck on one topic or thought longer than is necessary. I think thats why students think it helps during tests.

First of all I don't disagree with the use of marijuana in any form, particularly medical marijuana. However, your original post made pot sound like the end all be all cure for illness; it's not. Second, medical marijuana research aside, we have the most advanced medical system in the world and it's not all about pill pushing.

Compared to the current drugs on the market and approved by the FDA, then yes cannabis is the be all end all cure to disease and cancer. I'm not going to list all of its uses, but it has a far wider range as a medicine than any other medicine on the market and with no dangerous side effects.
Also what makes our medical system so advanced? I'm sure other countries match if not exceed the USA in some areas. Big pharmacy is the main downfall, bc they are corrupt and don't want to heal you. They give dr's free shite and free samples and pay them for dishing out their drugs, have lobbyists fighting for them in Washington d.c., and the FDA backs them. Every wonder why herbs can't say that they treat or cure a disease, and the only thing that can treat or cure a disease is something created by Big pharmacy and approved by the fda. Plants can't be patented, so they make chemicals synthesized from them and profit. Yet nature >> man made drugs!

So pot can cure mrsa, vref, streptococcal meningitis, and a range of other diseases that will straight up kill your arse without medical treatment?
You seem like a passionate guy, but I know alot of ppl like you. Ppl that always talk about the evils of western medicine until you absolutely need it. Bottom line is that you and those like you don't know what you're talking about bc without those synthesized medicines a great many ppl would be dead or would have died. Have a good one my man. I'm done.

How about you dont know what your talking about? How many people have died from drugs prescribed by drs? Sure they might cover up a symptom, but never cure it, and it has way worse side effects.
MRSA - cannabis kills MRSA "Scientists from Italy and the United Kingdom reported in the August 2007 issue of the Journal of Natural Products that the main active ingredient in weed, THC, as well as four other pot molecules “showed potent antibacterial activity against six different strains of MRSA of clinical relevance."

streptococcus pneumoniae - It says, Hu-211 (cannabis compound) was used on rats, and combined with ceftriaxone, and the rats suffered less cerebral edema and impairment compared to those treated with just ceftriaxone. These results are encourgaing since, in spite of the recent advances in medical sciences, bacterial and viral infections of the CNS still result in high mortaility and morbidity.

So you ignore the fact that marijuana can cure cancers, lung cancer, breast cancer, testicular cancer, among others, also stop seizures dead in its tracks, kill tumors and all the while not harming any healthy cells. While it might not kill all viruses and bacterias, but it seems pretty damn effective on 2 of the 3 that you listed. Also with this wide range of health benefits, what medicine by the FDA can do all this? You have ignored the hell out of this, despite your praises for our advanced medical systems. You also never said what makes it so advanced compared to other 1st world countries.
Also, when they give you an antibiotic, do you think it just kills the bad bacteria and leaves thegood? No, it kills all the bacteria, and it actually probably doens't kill them all either. Just like how there are retro viruses that dont respond to typical treatments.
Also you ignored the fact about how cannabis has saved and cured many many people for far longer than Big pharmacy.
