I drink way too much. But I do love watching young punks fall asleep at the bar when they challenge this old man to a drinking contest.
Btw...... Tarpon trip in mid July? Also it looks like I'm going to key west for memorial weekend. Any advice on a charter & if I should stay inshore or off? I'm leaning towards off for a blackfin/ mahi trip.

My consumption seems do be directly proportionate to my pain pill supply. I normally burn through my script about two weeks into the month

i drink a lot on thursday, friday, and saturday. pretty much never sunday. monday, tuesday, or wednesday depends on what people are doing and shite. love me a good and quiet monday or wednesday in DT athens.

I drank socially for years and it was never a problem. Then I lost someone close to me and decided I didn't want to be sober... again. So I pretty much made that my goal for the next 3 years or so. I'm talking full on only-work-to-buy-a-bottle-then-then-drink-the-whole-thing type deal. And I detest beer, always have, so I was going through 2 half gallons of whiskey every 3 days.
My wife believes I was trying to kill myself, but I don't think I was.
That being said I finally wised up and realized what I was doing and quit. April 1st is my 1 year "birthday" as they say.
I, however, have no intention of ever quitting weed. Sorry, but it ain't happening. That's the medicine. I told my old lady when we got married almost 15 years ago I would make certain concessions to be a better type person and all that shite, but to kindly just stay the frick away from my pot habit.

Don't really drink at all. Every so often, I'll have something, but rarely. Have never had the "urge". That said, my doctor has told me to start consuming some alcohol (not just red wine; anything with alcohol will do) to increase my HDL cholesterol, so there ya go.

Not much anymore - just a few drinks a month, if that. Had to back it off to avoid health problems, but fortunately, I don't miss it much, since I can still have enough to be social.

I just left the beach and I was blackout every night for 4 days. Feel like shite today.
But typically I go hard on the weekends and drink a beer with dinner a few other weeknights.

I drink wine mostly with a few beers mixed in. Never hard liquor. I try to drink week-endish only but it never works. I usually have 2-3 glasses of vino if during the week, more on weekends. I've done it for years so I rarely get drunk. Mostly just tired.
