I wasn't talking about spraying the actual lane down, that would be retarded. I was talking about spraying down the seats, cupholders, armrests, buttons, the little area where people are. Sorry I didn't make that specific, I assume a base level of intelligence when I post here, and it bites me on the arse all the time. I apologize.

Google "what is a lane in bowling". I can only go by what is written so my level of intelligence is not the one in question here. Regardless of our differences in knowing the definition of a "bowling lane" the same issue remains. How do you keep the actual lanes sanitized after each use since the bowling ball comes in contact with the lane.

quote:

So it's completely unsanitary 365 days a year? You think it can't be more sanitary when only a third of your lanes are open?

Never said it's not sanitary during a normal year but there's an obviously higher standard that needs to be followed as of now. Also if only a third of the lanes are opened that probably means only a third of the employees will be working. So the customers per employee may stay the same as before.

If the standard is complete surgical sterility, that isn't possible in 99% of places people congregate. Is that the standard you would like to see?

Not at all. Obviously 99% sterility is not possible. The point I'm trying to make is that the businesses that are given the green light to reopen should have a plan that logistically makes sense to keep everyone as safe as possible. Not just a "We'll wipe everything down" blanket statement. If they do then I have no issues with these businesses reopening.

Oh you mean right as we were supposed to leave he does the one thing that would make us stay? Where's the logic there?

This is the same government that lied to us about WMDs and passed the Patriot Act so sorry if I'm a little skeptical

I linked an article showing that Trump has committed drone strikes, the fact that the article had a whataboutism in it does not mean I support it.

I have not defended the left one bit now you're just making shite up again

Do you know of a joint with a nice outdoor eating area? If I was deadset on eating out that's the kind of place I would choose.

So some mysterious place between "we'll wipe everything down" and "complete sterility".

Some information that I've found in the OT-Lounge coronavirus thread that I haven't seen here.

In hospitals SARS-2 is causing blood clots, heart damage, and kidney damage.

Cleveland Clinic tested Abbot labs quick covid test and discovered that it returned 15% false negatives.

And incredibly...
Saliva is more sensitive for SARS-CoV-2 detection in COVID-19 patients than nasopharyngeal swabs

Pretty sure we have had people that have been in the military and in close proximity of the situation say WMDs were there. But hey, you seem willing to doubt everything our country says and accept everything such stalwarts of truth like Syria and North Korea says as fact, so....

quote:

You do understand that there's a difference between isolationism and invading countries and fighting proxy wars right?
Look. I know the difference. I'm just not sure you do. I mean, are you now saying it's okay to meddle in other countries affairs as long as we don't go to war?

quote:

I linked an article showing that Trump has committed drone strikes, the fact that the article had a whataboutism in it does not mean I support it.
I didn't say you support whataboutisms. I said you rail against them and then use them. Are you under the impression that every President hasn't used drone strikes? My original point was that Obama was the only President to date to use drone strikes against US citizens because they were accused of crimes, yet did not give them a trial. It was a purposeful attack to to kill two US citizens, one of which had never taken part in a terrorist attack. Obama defense ministers response? "He should have had a more responsible father."
And here is a nice liberal publication saying exactly what I said:
Robert Gibbs Says Anwar al-Awlaki’s Son, Killed By Drone Strike, Needs ‘Far More Responsible Father

quote:

I'm not talking about idiots on the left stop deflecting.
I realize that. You are completely ignoring them. I wonder why?

quote:

I know what both are you just seem to not want question the motives of a chemical attack right after the US announced they were leaving. The story is very fishy.
Wait...so Assad just gets a free pass on chemical attacks?

quote:

I have not defended the left one bit now you're just making shite up again
Then why don't you point fingers at all the guilty parties instead of railing against one? I mean, if you were really upset about the missteps of government during the Corona Virus you would be getting on all of them, not just one.

Seems like a lot of the tests are messed up. All over the world. that is why it is hard for me to get too upset over a lack of testing. We need good, reliable tests before we start, or we will be right back in the mess again.

I have an idea.

16 lanes in my bowling alley.

I only open lanes 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, 16.

Customer 1 gets lane 1.
Customer 2 gets lane 16.
Customer 3 gets lane 7.

So you assign lanes in a way that maximizes distance. Only at peak capacity is everyone as close as 20 ft away.

All shoes sanitized as they already are.

All balls turned in are sprayed with lysol and allowed to soak for 20 minutes before getting a final wipe down and put back in circulation.

All lanes turned in get the same treatment. Sprayed down and soaked 20 min then wiped before it can get reassigned.

Food and bev same as every other food and bev precautions.

Is that acceptable plan for reopening my alley?

If the saliva sensitivity is actually greater than nasal swab sensitivity it seems like almost everybody is screwing up.

That's right just believe everything they say. Of course they'll claim there WMDs otherwise they'd look even worse then they already do.

No I'm saying unless we are threatened or we have an ally that is being invaded or threatened we shouldn't frick around in other countries.

then use them.

I never did

I know other presidents have and have stated such you keep deflecting again and again.

No I am not I know about Obama and previous administrations problems but that wasn't the point I was originally making you're the once screaming "what about the Democrats?"

Wait...so Assad just gets a free pass on chemical attacks?

Wow that went right over your head. The US announces they're leaving Syria, then out of nowhere Assad does the one thing that would pull us back into Syria. This knowing full well Trump's cabinet as well as the leaders in the military are filled with warhawks. That doesn't sound the least bit odd to you?
quote:

I have before multiple times you're just getting pissy because I just happened to call out Trump here.

Well...and there was that article I gave you a link to saying it. I'm sure you have a link saying there wasn't any, right? And.....you do admit thta he gassed his own people in 2013, right?

quote:

No I'm saying unless we are threatened or we have an ally that is being invaded or threatened we shouldn't frick around in other countries.

And which country are we messing around in that is not our ally or threatening our allies?

I know other presidents have and have stated such you keep deflecting again and again.

How am I deflecting? I have admitted that trump uses drones. Can you admit that Obama is the only President that has used them to attack, try, sentence and execute Americans?

quote:

You are completely ignoring them
quote:

No I am not I know about Obama and previous administrations problems but that wasn't the point I was originally making you're the once screaming "what about the Democrats?"
Of course not. trump is the only one you are interested in attacking. You gleefully ignore Pelosi, Schumer, Cuomo and Deblasio. I mean, I had to bring them up, you didn't. And you run from that discussion, by criticizing....Trump. The only one you are truly interested in criticizing. Go ahead, talk as much about the failures of the left while also attacking Trump. At least you wouldn't appear to be a total Leftist Never-Trumper.

quote:

I have before multiple times you're just getting pissy because I just happened to call out Trump here.
In this thread, or on the Poli board? I don't go to the Poli board, so you will need to point out all the times you have pointed fingers at the left.

Even if your finger pointing was on the Poli board, show me where you criticized Pelosi, Schumer, Cuomo and Deblasio. I will anxiously await all your links. because I can sure point out some times you have pointed your finger at Trump. Those are easy to find.

I'm missing all sorts of places that would fit the bill of having great outdoor seating. Leon's in Decatur...Cypress Street Pint & Plate in midtown...Hand in Hand in VaHi. Wondering how many of these places are going to do the math and conclude it's not worth the risk and overhead to actually open, though. Our cheap Mexican place up the road would normally be packed on a nice evening in late April but don't know if they'll pull the trigger for sit down yet. They're one of the busier places I've seen as far as maintaining a pick-up service.
