So she planted tomato seedlings in early March in north GA? Ahead of a cold front that had been forecasted for about 12 days prior to it moving through?
Dallas, what do you think about that?

You don't need Dallas to tell you it is moronic. It was moronic. Women don't always think things through, they go by feeling, and she felt like planting tomatoes a week out of February. I actually enjoy her disappointment in this matter.

I’ve always heard you plant on or after Good Friday.

Or "when the danger of frost has passed" as clearly written on every tomato plant label so even the secularists understand it.

Mother’s Day gift idea (maybe your daughter can get it for her):
-get her a $10 seed starting kit and a $1.50 pack of tomato seeds, so she can grow seedlings indoors on the window sill if she wants a head start in March
-then save seeds off the fruit it produces this summer to plant next year and secede from the Lowe’s/Bonnie Plants big farming industrial complex that duped her

Cook Offs and garden Offs don’t seem to be taking root. What if we combined them with a Prepper Off to spice things up ?
Just kidding of course. 98% of people on this board will die within 3 months whenever it happens

This is the way. I got Cherokee Purples sprouting in an egg carton right now.

Nice. What do you do with those eggplants?
My grandmother used to make eggplant casserole for me all the time because it was my favorite. Probably haven’t had eggplant in 20 years

Please post updates and pics. I tried to air fry crappie once. It was ok but not in the ballpark of old fashioned deep fried.
