Kinda my question, too. The old Walmart center in that area is still a ghost town. You have a church that remodeled the Walmart facility and then Goodwill. And that's it.

Yeah the Athens Church shopping center doesn't look good. Luckily it's tucked away so you can't see it from the road.

Thanks for the info. I live next to Oconee Connector so I drive by there frequently and it seemed like progress was slow. Now I get to look forward to all the traffic there soon.

Haha, yeah we aren't far away (Mars Hill Rd). The theater part of the development is actually going pretty quick. They've already paved the parking lot areas and laid sod.
