We would have seen all kinds of riots if Obama were not elected

This is true, but those riots would've probably been over in a few days/weeks. The trouble we're in store for I believe will be a whole new level of shite.

And FWIW, I voted for Bush. Twice.

All I heard from the first video was Hotty Toddy sung by students. I am sure there were things said by students that people could take offense to. What about the Occupy people. I am sure they said things that other took offense to as well.

I don't blame OM for having the "Candle light Vigil". OM has a perception issue. Everyone outside the Southeast thinks that everyone at OM/Miss/the South are giant racists. Especially if you are white. Every article that has been written about the "riot" has brought up the actual riots in the 60's. There is no comparing!

Talk about much ado about nothing. UMass had riots after the election also, if Romney won there still would have been riots.

I didn't and I am!

Again, the numbers tell the tale and you are part of a dying creed. Trust me, I know you, cuz I was raised just like you were. However, I broke from many of those conservative indiscretions, my choice, free will!

Allow me to be the very first to advise you how very wrong you will be. I'll leave it at that and allow history to be written, as it should be!

NC, you're cool and I hope you're right. But I just don't think you are. The America we had is gone. Now it will all most likely hinge on whether, when things get too bad, the old true American fierce independence will win out and people actually stand and fight again. I believe the last time was in 1860. It's going to get bad my friends. But again, FWIW, I hope you're right and I'm not.

Was a raised as a UGA fan? Is that the question?...If so, yes! LONG family legacy. I graduated in 87. We had season tickets dating back to the early 50's, but had to let them go when that asshat prez raised seat and ticket prices.

On the first point, you are correct. However, your parents said the same thing, as did theirs, and so on. Point is, we are evolving. We were evolving then and god willing, we will continue to evolve.

I sincerely hope we do not need civil disobedience turned to war for this republic to find her humanity!...

Nah, then lean occurred well before I attended UGA. I was a child of the 60's, lots of turmoil, tons of change....as I said, we evolve. Personally, I am fiscally conservative...My wife calls me a tight arse, where $$$ is involved. I very much support the platform, ethics and conservatism of the "old" republican guard....By old, I mean Teddy Roosevelt old! The present course of the Pubs (Neo-Cons) isn't in the same universe as that of the old. Some say it happened well before Nixon, but Nixon was likely the first time their "ethics" found their mark above the fold.

J-School was a means to an end....pigskin! Plus, UGA has some damn fine wemmons and many of them were also in J-School.....sue me!!!

Gotta get off my azz and get some shite done. L8er fellow Dawgs!!!

GATA!!!!
