Was a drastic and refreshing change from what I saw last week play calling was awesome wish we could have use the TEs a little more and we got the run game going Stetsons arm was nice even though Jackson had to come back for that long ball

1000 percent agreed! I also loved stetson ability to avoid the pass rush when Auburn blitzed.

Monken’s concepts were extremely impressive. Always had somebody in motion. Defense had to respect swing/screen passes which opened up shots downfield. Of course running the ball down their throats helped also.

Fitz made a good catch but he dropped a couple that were right in his hands. He needs to improve or someone else will be in that slot.

It shows what a mobile/agile experienced QB can do for your offense even when he's just a 5'10" walk-on. Bennett is no Tua but he's the best we have at running a diverse well balanced offense.

I am truly excited about this. Finally a coordinator that matches our talent. I think we can play a similar game as last night vs Tenn and win.

The following week vs Bama, run more schemes they wouldn’t image we have.

My biggest concern is it looks like Monken's protecting Stetson - as well as the kid's played. Monken likes to throw downfield, but that's been mostly eliminated. We also had a couple of other throws where arm strength was an issue.

Good news for me:

1. Stetson is more mobile than folks think, but they're holding off on utilizing it. I'm expecting to see more of that v Bama.

2. If this defense is what I think it is arm strength concerns may not matter.

I agree. Gus also runs some innovative schemes on offense that makes an elite defense wonder what is happening on the field. I think this is why they beat Bama so often. Without Kirby and Pruitt the Alabama defense is still very good, but not great like before. Gives me hope for the game.

To me this was key, Stetson being able to avoid, if that was Fromm we looking at 3 or 4 sacks easy. With that being said do you guys think JT maybe a reliability because he doesn't run as much? At this point I don't really see him being a threat in the read option as much as Stetson is. I feel like we almost have to have a mobile qb at this point.

Agree. We need a mobile QB who can avoid the rush and buy time to survey the field and fine open receivers or pick up critical yards for first downs when he has open field in front of him. We should have at least 2 QB's like this to relieve each other after they are forced to run. These are the kind of QBs who can totally frustrate and wear down even a good defense.
