And can tie Bear Bryant (and Gene Stallings) for the longest winning streak in the history of the SEC with a win at Tennessee next week.

I'm kind of freaking out here.

I think Saban did 26 once and 28 once. Bear Bryant did 28 once also. If I'm wrong so is the TV report on SEC Network.

I think they're wrong, then.

The longest winning streak in SEC history is 28 - Bear Bryant and Gene Stallings. Nick Saban's longest is 26. Now Smart has 27 in a row.

At least, I think that's right.
