Let's say Murray has a great performance this season: everything comes together, he breaks all the records, and shows out in the big games.

Do you give him a career Heisman?

He will need to win the SEC IMO

Also it would be huge if he went off against Clemson on prime time

I imagine one of the SEC QB's could win it. Whoever has the more successful team between A&M, Bama, and UGA will take home the heisman.

McCarron's numbers arent as gaudy as Manziel and Murray's but he has the "career achievment" angle down.

I'd say Gurley has a pretty decent shot as well.

12-1 with something like 40 TD passes and an SECCG win will have him in NYC. Will be tough to beat out Bridgewater (a better QB), Braxton Miller (not as good, but plenty of opportunities to pad stats), or whatever ND player ESPN decides to dick ride this season.

I agree Gurley has a shot too but he will split too many carries with Marshall and won't win it.

Fixed that for you. McCarron is the most overrated QB Bama has had in a long time. My grandmother could win playing under center at Alabama.
