Not worried about our defense but really hope Kirby overhauls our offensive staff. Fromm seems almost certain to return but it's clear he needs competition.

One other thought: Coley has improved playcalling but he has to go after how poorly we executed on offense.

Only thing I can think of for the regression. He has no one challenging him for his job at QB this year- and it shows.

Without major overhaul of the staff and Kirby stepping back into a more hands off role, none of it will matter and we will decline.
If James Coley is the OC in 2020, then we can all start playing golf on saturdays until Kirby gets his stubborn, ignorant arse fired.

Fromm could turn it around but Kirby really fricked up letting Fields go. In my mind, Fromm is what he is. He could win a Natty if we surrounded him with elite talent but he will never carry an offense.

when I saw Smart lose both coordinators in one year, for me the red flag went up.. looks like our HC is in a bit over his head..

Exactly! It's like someone said in another thread. Fromm is a guy you can win with, but Fromm will never be the reason why you win. Look at who is winning national titles. It's not guys like Fromm.

So close...but so far away. We are the cream of the junior varsity SEC East but have to business on the field with teams like LSU/Bama. And. Before anyone says anything...Bama would have smoked us tonight also.

And after all the accolades, why is everyone in love with Pittman. Our O line either is too big or totally uncoached as to how to run block. I'm so sick of hearing how big and talented when they couldn't block against Tech...

I though Coley has some good play-calling nights down the stretch this year, but Fromm’s regression along with the overall offensive regression has happened on his watch.
