Kid is getting better and better each week.
I know that a lot of credit goes to the DL. But Rice is chopping wood out there. For as good as the underclassmen are improving and getting more reps... Rice is doing more with fewer snaps. He is playing huge right now.

Rice and Dean at ILB next year with who we return at OLB may constitute the best LB corps UGA has ever had, top to bottom.
If Rochester comes back healthy and able to play, that’s a defense to fricking fear

Don’t forget Quay Walker. Tall and athletic and keeps earning more playing time.

Marshall and Tindall as well.

Also have Rian Davis who has been redshirting due to injury
Given what we saw Lanning and Schumann do in developing Azeez, plenty of reason to be excited for these guys to grow into freaks

In short, despite the shortcomings on offense the defense is developing better than expected and are playing their arse off. We are watching an absolute defensive machine in the making. LSU will see.

Can't complain at all about Lanning and Schumann. Although I suspect the defense is great mostly because of Kirby.

Kirby knows defense and defensive coaches. Problem is the other side of the ball
