Here are the totals for first year tickets in the past:
15- 6701
14- 1001
13- 500
12- 500
11- 500
10- 1507
I have no clue what to predict for 16. On one hand, there's a lot of excitement with a new coach and we have some good home games. On the other hand, some old fogies might withhold bc they're more loyal to richt, and some people might also be a bit miffed with our play of late.
I would have NO idea what to even guess, but if forced to make SOME kind of prediction I"d say maybe a few thousand? Idk. I'm actually shocked it was as low as $500 for 3 straight years.

The bump in '14 was due to the phenomenon of having Auburn, Tech, Clemson, and Tennessee all on the home slate in one year (probably our best home schedule ever).
With the change in when we get Auburn (due to SEC expansion) I'd imagine even number years will typically have higher numbers than odd years (when we wont have Tech, Tennessee or Auburn). 2015 was an exception due to getting Bama at home.
I'll guess the numbers for this year will be slightly lower than '14, due to no Clemson and only 6 home games.

I agree that the Kirby effect will drive up the number for first time Hartman fund ticket buyers.....I also expect a record number of folks will be at G-Day in April too...

I remember going into the 08 season the minimum for first timers was over $10,000.
I wonder if we'll ever see it that high again.

Agree, and of course we have AU, tech, and UT at home again this season. I wonder what about '15...surely just bama being on the schedule wouldn't account for the $5K+ increase would it?

It does seem like more of a bump than even Bama would create, but I can't think of any other explanation. Our home schedule outside of Bama was pretty bland (South Carolina, Mizzou, etc.
We were expected to be good in 2015, but not 2008 or 2012 type expectations.
As crazy as it looks, I think the bump is from Bama. It sort of makes sense when you consider that they hadn't been to Athens in seven years.

The 2015 bump was likely Bama, Mizzou, and USCe. Mizzou and USCe were expected to be top 15 teams based on 2014.
Edit: My guess will be in the $2500 range. Four decent home games.
We're thinking of going to the Mizzou game again this year. We went in 2012 and had a good time.

Mizzou was ranked 23rd preseason, South Carolina was unranked. Bama caused the bump.

Appreciate it and trying to decide whether to add on 4 four this year in advance of the notre dame craze.
