but it seems the players who really want to play for Richt (Lynch and Murray come to mind) are the type who will not step up in an alley fight for him. some would point to the defense but yesterday the dawg's defense was on the field and given a short field way too much. just a thought but these last 4-5 recruiting classes have been full of talent but short on "rising to the occasion" in big moments.

seems the players who play for Saban are just hungrier for success...we all know Richt doesn't belong in the same sentence with coaches like Saban and Meyer and this may be a big reason this is so.

No, they are more prepared. Simple as that. UGA doesn’t have that winning pedigree where they EXPECT to win every game. We HOPE to win every game. There is a big difference in the two. Not a knock on Richt, because Saban is one of only a handful of elite coaches.
