Is a bust a player who contributed but not nearly as much as expected?

Fascinating series of posts.

For a 3 star recruit, I'm only labeling a bust if kicked off or transfers.

I have Natrez Patrick and Trenton Thompson as busts despite their starts. Lack of key moments/big games and arrests/bad press.
I have other non starters (2 deep) as busts if they were high or mid tier recruits

Any kid who starts 27 games and makes it in the NFL isn't a bust.

Someone who never contributes and quits/kicked off the team is a bust.

Patrick was a casualty of 2 things.
1) he was better suited for for Pruitt's system. He didn't fit for Kirby hardly at all.

2) couldn't stay out of trouble.

There is a good chance that Patrick has a good UGA career if Pruitt was here for the entire tenure.

If he kept his nose clean, I could see listing as OK. By his senior season, he was passed by 2 star RB/WR Tae Crowder on the depth chart. Juwan Taylor had more tackles.

If you are a high 4 star recruit along with the bad press, that is bust to me
