What was Winstons odds at this time last year? Anybody remember or know where that can be found? Or JFF the year before? Seems like someone has "came out of nowhere" the past few seasons.
With that said if Gurley stays healthy I definitely think he will be invited to the ceremony. If we win the SEC I think he stands a great shot at winning it.

Agreed. Every year someone comes out of nowhere. Same for Scam Newton
But a healthy TG should make some national noise

Healthy he is the best player in the nation. I'm extremely excited to see some Chubb this year too. I think SM with rs and if Marshall is healthy we will have the best RB rotation in the league. frick bama RB U is back.

I think its going to be extremely hard for a running back to win nowadays, especially the way alot of these offenses allow a qb to put uo constant video game numbers each week.

True dat. Hopefully voters can appreciate how hard it is for RBs to put up big numbers with all this wide open HUNH going on

I don't think the UGA offense will allow TG to shine enough. He will get rested a good bit with the other RB's on board. TG "might" get 20 carries per game. Might...

I agree, but a back like Gurley would be the one to do it. Unfortuantely, in our system he won't be featured enough and our school won't publicize him enough. If he played at some other school and got 30 carries a game I could see him being up in the conversation.

If the second half of last year was any indication, he's going to catch a lot of passes too.

Yep. I'd say 5 catches a game on avg
