If what you say is true JT would be playing, he is not.

Kirby has a history of not pulling a QB unless he loses or gets hurt. As long as Stet kept winning, he was going to stay in. ref. Jacob Eason and Fromm

One favor to ask everyone:

Can we stop referring to SBIV as a "walk on"? Yes he WAS a walk on his Fr year. He is no longer a WO. He is a scholarship QB who had significant improvement since leaving early and coming back. Some people develop at different speeds.

Look at JD99...he was a 3 star and is in the HT discussion as a DL. Ladd McConkey was barely recruited at all and he looks like an Edleman at times. SBIV has developed and would start at multiple other programs right now. He WAS a walk on. He is no longer a walk on level QB. He's not elite, but good Lord, he's better than a lot of people give him credit for. Get over the initial title of "walk on". That's old news. He's competed and won. If you recall, there was buzz about him from the players back before he left. He gave the 1s fits in practice. Get past the WO label.

DO NOT read into this rant as me saying he's "better" than JT or anything other than grant him a little grace and recognize his development from Fr year to now.

That's not how this board works. One quarterback is always god-come-to-earth and being held back by stupid coaching, while the other always should not only be benched, but should be strangled at the 50 yard line, along with every single one of his living relatives.
