Who drinks that crap?
So who cares what it costs?

Crank it up and pour a real beer down your gullet. (possible NSFW language)

I’m sorry for complaining about the price of the uncool peasant beer I like to drink. It’s awesome that the price of an agricultural product like beer has increased 44% in less than a year due to corrupt incompetent evil filth. Anyone not impressed or happy about such a thing oughta shut up and drink a ‘real’ beer and remember what the pilgrims had to go through dammit! They didn’t have the trillions in debt and the great leaders like we,ve been blessed with

Have you considered brewing your own, now that is some real Merican stuff right there. I was raised by Depression folks and learned real Mericans grow their own before falling on their knees to corporate overlords

It started with Regan and has gone down the crapper on both sides since. We need another Ike but that will not happen.

Cut n pasting someone’s post sentence by sentence and commenting on each one is bad manners.

I’d love to see you, Dawgslife, and WG get into an argument about something.

I only do that when someone makes like 7 points that all need refuting. How else should it be done? If I just start rambling on points may get lost in the shuffle so it seems easier to just snip out their statement and then respond accordingly

Maybe in North Korea. We live in a country where:

1 )One can improve their lot as much as they wish if they are willing to put in the effort

2) We are the only country on the face of the earth with a morbidly obese so-called "poor" population.

3) The poorest of our poor are wealthy beyond the imagination of most of the worlds population. (You will notice that the flow across our southern border is completely unidirectional).

In short, take that untruthful, liberal B.S. down the road to someone either gullible enough or lazy and jealous enough to buy into it.

Maybe just treat it like a conversation or how lawyers do in court with opening and closing arguments to make your case

A similar phenomenon would be when texting older relatives. For example, tomorrow I’ll fire off a bunch of texts that just say “Happy Thanksgiving!” and most will be responded to with “Happy Thanksgiving!”. But one or two will come back with “Happy Thanksgiving! Have you seen so and so lately? Whatever happened to that such n such? What button on the remote does that thing you showed me once? And 15 other questions after that. As if I’m supposed to sit down now and take ten minutes filling out a questionnaire. I was just trying to reach out and say hello. Not take an exam. Geeze . It’s a holiday. I just want to relax

Pretty much my thoughts

Was not intending to be rude JD, just not all thoughts can be conveyed in texts and emoticons. Societies break down with appealing to the lowest common denominator, Christ, they don't even teach Latin to kids anymore.

Clearly you missed the forest for all those pesky trees

Prior to the 80's we had local and regional ownership which meant folks that live in a community want good schools, parks, and amenities. They were involved in local things because they passed them daily. This was not a discussion of Left or Right as frankly the far Left and the far Right are equally nuts and both should be avoided.

This is about the transfer of assets to fewer and fewer folks and a diminishing middle class. Those jobs are going overseas as is ownership. They keep you on a line of credit similar to the company stores of old. In the new model you get to stay in debt while the cash flows out of state where the few can built parks and schools in their neighborhood and no care about you or your family.

Hence the term "wage slavery"

Funny I read it as somebody who loves you is interested enough to engage you in conversation. Maybe I am a different age but 10 mins with my dad or grandfather was some of the best time invested. I would take 10 mins with either now than 10 days of mindless video games. Like I said, I just may be from a different generation. You can't get those 10 mins back after they are taking the dirt nap.

I get you want to relax but part of living is being a living, breathing part of the lives of those around you. My grandfather taught me at an early age that the time to tae the cookie is when they pass the plate the first time. may be all gone by the time the plate comes around again

Happy Thanksgiving dude.

In my mind, texting is for things like “Happy Thanksgiving Aunt _____! “ or “ Im running late be there soon “ or “what time are we teeing off?” Etc. I think in elderly people’s minds though, texting is just like when they used to sit down and hand write a long letter to their husband who is off killing japs or nazis. Just because technology makes it easier to communicate doesnt change the fact that there are only so many hours in the day

So my analogy holds. Because if I sit down and answer all 12 questions that responded to my “Happy Thanksgiving,” text, it only will then expand. With 20 more questions. Just like when someone breaks apart your post and cut n paste responds to every sentence….if i respond to all those retorts, you’ll only come back with 20 more cut n pastes of every sentence from that one. And it goes off the rails. Also, are you conscious of how hard you are wagging your finger and lecturing me in every post? Also check out the date in the above photo. This is your real life

Egg Bowl time, sons

This is one of my favorite rivalries of the over-hyped rivalry weekend. 50 something degrees and rain on way and weird things always seem to happen in this one

Cheese Grits, did you just see that? I told you so. Look. A few years ago in this game a player lifted his leg and mimicked a dog pissing. Which cost his team a win, and got his coach fired. But then that fired coach went on to join the Georgia Bulldogs in a crucial role which helped them win their first national championship in 41 years. As above, so below

Egg Bowl is under rated on national stage but 100+ years is pretty intense. The trophy was actually given as a way to curb the fights at the end of the games

Chheese Grits, do you think it’s a coincidence that the people who are first to criticize UGA at the first sign of adversity…are also the same people that don’t watch shite shows like what just happened in oxford?

I think human nature is prone to over react to bad or negative news. More rational folks take the bad with the good to form a more clear thought. The game in MS is why we watch. Close, either team could win the majority of the game but did not play out for either side the way most thought it would. Weather probably altered the outcome (and why I like open air games).
