One play away from the MNC game at the end of 2 seasons ago.....He's lost it....

That's a great point. That was with Grantham as the DC as well.

Had we won that game, forcing Bama to NOT win the MNC...and then them not making it again this year...you think Bama would fire Saban?

My point is that richt is in the same situation as mack was two years ago. Win the conference and you stay. Go 7 and 5 and people wonder why you make $3.5 mil a year. Ga' football, basketball and baseball teams are just not that good and unless we win a lot next year the pressure on the admin will get much worse. So if you Disneys are right and we go 11 and 1 or 12 and 0 the next two years, right stays. However if he stays consistent, in two years we may have a new coach.

I agree. At the end of the day, coaching a football team is not that difficult. For $3.5 million, we can find plenty of competent individuals that will give us a better return on our investment. Richt will be in a Mack situation if he doesn't perform this year.

How? Are you really saying that what he has done the past few years is grounds for firing?

You still have not come up with one name...

Bull shite. Mack was crap for four years. Richt had one down year. It's not comparable.

You mean one of the winningest active coaches of the past 10-12 yrs? Yeah, what a bum.

You're right, but sometimes I like to. I mean, if we could find plenty of competent coaches for $3.5M, I'd like to hear his thoughts on who some options might be

interview the best assistants in the country. really, it wouldn't be that difficult. How do you think we got mark richt to begin with? This isn't rocket science.

And whose would those be? Notice no big college programs have replaced their HCs with Assts.

So you want to find a better coach than Mark Richt by following the same process that led to Mark Richt's hiring in the first place?

Interesting

The definition of insanity is repeating the same behavior and expecting different results.
