If he got all 8 fingers and 2 thumbs on it would you change your mind?

Had we a competent QB, we'd have hung 50 on them.

We would have done that with Beck and the receivers catching the dropped passes

Why not use Lovett like we used to on crossing patterns?

Do those conditions absolve Arian Smith for all of his drops that meet this criteria?

think Luckie was able to get one hand on the football

Here was the first interception

An easily catchable ball for any upper level TE.

here's the second drop of his I mentioned that would have led to a touchdown. Hit him directly in both hands, he actually started to corral it and bring it in, then it just popped right on out.

That's 2 more passing TDs (well 1 for sure, potentially a second) and 1 less interception for Beck . Stats are nice but looking at bekc's you'd think he had a reggie ball style bed shitting which wasn't entirely accurate.

#11 gets hit in the hands multiple times a game and manages to fail to secure the catch.

Thank God he didn't on that final TD drive, but beating the DB by 3 steps barely matters when you can't complete the reception.

That picture shows that it wasn’t an easy catch, but it also shows he had both hands on it and that catch is made by D1 athletes regularly.

11 has had numerous drops and bad routes this year. At least 2 bad routes that caused interceptions in big games. I think the only reason he still sees the field is that he is so fast that he can stretch defenses and opens zones up for other players …and he still makes a lot of plays. If he cleaned that up, he plays in the NFL. As of now, he has a lot of improvement needed.

Beck could have thrown a better ball but brock bowers or any elite pass-catcher comes down with that ball. It's on both of them.

Even an A-List QB is only going to make a perfect throw 75% of the time. The pass catchers have to make some highlight plays too, not just make the easy catches.

This is absurd. Luckie is leaping like 3 feet in the air on like a 5 yard route. If the ball is placed better, it's likely a catch and a first down.

Yes, it could have been better. Yes, it was also catchable. The only thing that is absurd is for someone to say it was a terrible pass.
