Going for two that early in the third quarter would’ve been Kirby’s worse call in his whole coaching career! Can anyone explain the reason for that?
I’m glad we won and it was a helluva game!

Not much faith in his defense stopping Tech?

Stupid fricking decision and it shoudve cost us the game. Should’ve kicked the field goal on fourth down in the first quarter, too.

I’ll never apologize for a win I don’t give a shite about margin of victory in this day and age of college football. Win and move on to the next week. Was just dumbfounded by that move when Kirby usually calls it pretty close on going for 2 or kicking XP

I think Kirby had 24 in his head being Tech would likely score again, he was thinking 8 8 8....
It was a mistake.
It was a mistake.

If we would’ve lost I would be bitching about their Oline just tackling our defenders on every play.

We should beat Tech by 2 scores even with that ref crew but yeah I don’t think I’ve seen blatant holding overlooked that bad since the Ohio State game.

Did Kirby ever address why he went for two?

The math said go. I don't hate it. As you see. Mathematically it allowed them to stay in the game, even though they didn't convert
